Siddharth Malhotra was born on 16 January 1985 in Surat, Gujrat.
His father has worked in the Merchant Navy and got retired 15 years ago. He is
a reitred person but is involved in consultancy. His elder brother is a banker
by profession.The family is a typical Indian Punjabi Family.
Siddharth Malhotra completed his schooling from St. Xaviers,
Don Bosco School Delhi. He is graduated from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College,
Delhi University. He had changed many schools. Siddharth Malhotra age was 8
years when his parents shifted to Mumbai. He belongs to the family background
that is good at studies but despite this fact, he was not good at studies. He
was very good at acting and loved to take part in dramas in the school. By the
time, he also moved to Delhi and completed some part of his schooling there. He
chose modeling as his career at the age of 16 and entered this industry and
start dreaming to become an actor.
Siddharth Malhotra spent his childhood in Surat and then in
Mumbai. He had interest in cultural activities since his school days. He is
Punjabi and takes care of his diet very well to stay healthy. His diet includes
little carbohydrates, high protein food and lots of fruits and vegetables. He
also drink too much of water to stay healthy. He had named one of his dogs as
‘Oscar’. He has a special love for dogs. He also owns a sea facing house in
Mumbai now.
Siddharth Malhotra entered the glam industry at the age of
16 years. He was spotted by the modeling agent in a café, while he was having
coffee. He wanted to pursue his career in modeling and withdrew himself from
studies. At the age of 19 years, in 2007, He participated and won in Gujarat
Pageant. In this year, he also applied for Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt and
was selected there too. He performed nicely in that period and was sub titled
with ‘Mr. Internet Popularity’. The judges gave him the title of ‘Mr.
Photogenic’ in this contest. He became the second runner of Gladrags Mega Model
and Manhunt. This is how Siddharth Malhotra becomes successful at starting.
He then appeared in many ad campaigns of Roberto Cavalli and
on cover of Men’s Health, Gladrags, and RedBook. Siddharth Malhotra debut TV
serial was ‘Prithviraj Chauhan’ in which Rajat Tokas played the major role. He
was the model, VJ and the assistant director in NDTV Good Times. He also
assisted Karan Johar in the movie ‘My Name is Khan’.
Siddharth Malhotra Bollywood Career
Siddharth Malhotra make marked with the movie ‘Student of
the Year’ with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan as debutants in the same movie in lead
roles with him. He had won the ‘Best debut male award’ at South Africa and
India Television Awards and also the ‘Breakthrough Performance award’ for male
category at Stardust Awards’. He then appperared in Hasee Toh Phansee with
Parineeti Chopra, who is Priyanka Chopra Cousin. He also has major role in ‘Ek
Villian’. In 2015 he appeared in movie
Brothers .
