A Short Biography Of Shah Rukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan is an Indian film actor, producer, TV host, mentor and philanthropists. He has appeared in more than 50 Hindi films in genres ranging from romance to action and comedies. He is one of the most awarded Bollywood actor of all time including actor Dilip Kumar. He was awarded with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2005, and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Government of France in 2007 for his contribution to films. Currently, he is busy shooting for the upcoming flicks Fan and Raees. Biography SRK was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi, India to Taj Mohammed Khan, an ethnic Pathan and an Indian independence activist from Peshawar, British India and Lateef Fatima. Affairs of showman Raj Kapoor

Raj Kapoor the showman of Bollywood has love affair with Nargis  it ishowever the most unforgettable one.Their chemistry was great both on-screen and off-screen! They were in love and it showed. Although, Aag was their first film together, their relationship started to bloom with Barsaat.
The song from Shree 420, ‘Pyar hua iqrar hua’ is still considered as the classic display of romance in Hindi-films. Apparently, the duo were head over heels in love but their love story did not materialize...So what went wrong ??

There are 3 main reasons behind the break up.

First was Raj Kapoor's romantic link up with other heroins, he was never a faithful husband or lover. And one day Nargis caught Raj Kapoor in R.K. Studio's cottage with Meena Kumari. Nargis was furious and that was the starting of the end of their love story.


Second reason was Krishna Kapoor, Raj Kapoor's wife. Raj Kapoor was married since long and had 3 kids, though he had many affairs but was never keen on divorcing Krishna. Raj-Nargis affair lased for almost 10 years but in the end Nargis realized that she will always be a second women in his life (with many others) and Raj has no planes whatsoever to marry her.

Third reason was professional. When Raj-Nargis went to Moscow, there Nargis realized that she and Raj Kapoor were not on equal footing, as a co-star of the all his movies till then her popularity was nothing compared to Raj. Every one was just after his, loved him, venerated him for the movies he made and the roles he played. People there didn't even care to know the name of Nargis, she was Mrs. Kapoor for them. Nargis felt that in Raj Kapoor's movies hero is all important and female character is all dominated by the male one. They had argument and Nargis left Raj and Moscow.

When Nargis left Raj Kapoor was suffering from sever cold and fever. The south Indian actress/dancer Padmini happened to be there in Moscow in the same hotel, she nursed him through his cold and high fever. That was the beginning of Raj-Padmini love story.  Raj Kapoor even told a few friends that he made ‘Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai’ as a thank you gesture to Padmini.

Actually the Nargis chapter closed like a heavy door, slamming shut the most intense and creative phase of Raj kapoor’s life. Nargis had been the centre that held his working life for a decade. Raj kapoor now needed another heroine and a shoulder to lean on. Padmini, one of the famous Travancore sisters, was a natural successor.

Coming to the unfortunate salacious gossip that was generated during and after the release of Sangam, the fact of the matter was that RK was far too enamoured of getting publicity and grabbing the headlines.

And that included the rumours that I was romantically involved with him. It was all the manipulative doing of RK banner's PR drive and unnecessarily this nonsense spread like wild fire even before one could think of dousing those flames. Nobody from the media bothered to seek my point of view.

This was absolutely baseless and made me very angry. It hurt his family and my family in equal measure. Like others, even his family thought it to be true. And Yagamma and father were naturally very upset. But as far as my clean image and reputation was concerned, it remained untouched.

I had observed during those four years of the making of Sangam that RK was not obsessed about women like he had been made out to be. Of course, he had this creative compulsion to depict passionate scenes.

But this bit about catering to this image to show that he was always involved with the leading lady of his film (not outside, but only in his films) was definitely generated by RK Studio's publicity wing.

Raj Kapoor also had an affair with the great dancer/actress Padmini.
