The
"khiladi" of bollywood has not just been the literal
"khiladi" but the metaphorical one as well. The stunt hero akshay
kumar has been a reason of umpteen tears and heartbreaks. He has been the flame
and not the moth. With his khiladi adaa and charming smile, akshay kumar is
nothing less than the real life casanova. Torrid affairs and meandering
relationships have always done one thing for akshay for sure- fetched him easy
and quick publicity. From one story to another, his has been a life dotted with
beauties, news and controversies. Here are a few celeb-ladies who have heaved
long sighs in love of akshay but the actor's jetty has been floating from shore
to shore with bold strides until the ultimate happened.

akshay's life. At least the first one recorded. Pooja batra was then among one
of the happening, famous (leggy) models strutting the ramp. Akshay had freshly
arrived from hong kong with plethora of dreams to become successful. Having
wooed pooja, the actor got his gate pass to enter the hot and happening parties
of the tinsel town. Young pooja was brimming with love for akshay but the man
had bigger plans. Akshay ditched her the moment he got a break opposite ayesha
jhulka pooja wanted akshay while akshay wanted films. This lead to their eventual
break-up.

rumors about akshays’ new lady. Little did they know that in real life too
akshay was a khiladi in the making. Ayesha was left to heal her wounds while

Both seemed to be made (and mad) for each other right from the minute they were
spotted together on celluloid. Everyone hoped that the duo would go far. Rajiv
rai's mohra (1994) had their energetic and vivacious performance captured on
screen. With mohra's grand success, the pair signed half a dozen films together
and pushed one box office hit after the other. Soon reel romance was translated
to real life romance. Rumors had it that akshay and raveena had even secretly
got married but nothing was confirmed. The affair lasted for 3 years until
akshay made it impossible for raveena to feel secure in the relationship.
Raveena was in
deep love with kumar. During their courtship phase, khiladiyon ka khiladi
released and with that, the link-up stories of akshay and Rekha became the
sensational news in the media.it maybe a rumour but it affected the
relationship between akshay and raveena.
Raveena who was
already dealing with the flamboyant nature of akshay could not take this
infidelity anymore and finally was left shattered. In her july 1999 interview,
a heart-broken raveena said that akshay proposes to every girl and the speed on
which he is going, he will soon have to address the parents of three-fourth of
girls in mumbai as ‘mom and dad’. Raveena further said that she does not blame
any other woman for her break up since it was her man who was not loyal. With
this, the love that could have been turned into marriage ended on a sour and
sad note.

up with raveena, akshay got involved with shilpa. Though shilpa made her debut
in 1993 (same year when akshay and raveena’s mohra released), the duo got close
after the release of main khiladi tu anari in 1997. Akshay was even engaged to
shilpa. However, while the duo were shooting for dhadkan, soon rumours of
akshay and his international khiladi co-star, twinkle khanna, started making
headlines. It was official that akshay had fallen in love again and this time
with twinkle, while he was already in a committed relationship with shilpa.
When shilpa
heard this, she instantly broke up with him during the shoot of dhadkan itself.
She kept a low pace in the media in order to keep her film away from the
controversies. However, after the success of dhadkan, she did burst out her
anger against akshay. In the year 2000, in an interview to india-forums.com,
she said, "akshay kumar used me and conveniently dropped me after he found
someone else." after a long gap, they both met again on the sets of bigg
boss. Wherein, shilpa introduced him, saying, “aapne bahaut stunts kiye hain”
for which akshay promptly replied, “ji haan! Aapse aacha kaun jaanta hain.”
Marriage
with Twinkle khanna
while everyone thought that akshay might have dumped shilpa for karishma
kapoor, the star surprised his fans when he openly started vouching his love
for twinkle khanna, daughter of rajesh khanna.. Having worked with akshay in
zulmi (1999) and international khiladi (1999) twinkle finally managed to marry
akshay. They met, they smiled, they shook hands, they fell in love and got
married. After supplying the media with dosage of a saccharine love story,
akshay and twinkle finally tied the knot in 2001 and is now proud parents of
two children- aarav and nitara.

After working with the gorgeous priyanka
chopra in films like- "andaaz", "mujhse shaadi karogi",
"aitraaz" and "waqt: race against time" media could not
help but notice the chemistry between the two. Though the entire affair seems
to have an air of fiction in it and nothing has been proved yet, a nervous twinkle
immediately made her husband take the vow to not work with priyanka again.
Akshay and priyanka do not talk to each other or even share greetings in
friendly parties any more. Was it not just a rumor then?

katrina kaif has always been lucky for akshay and vice versa. Whenever the two
appeared on screen together, films have grossed major sums right on their
release. But after the bo dud "tees maar khan", the two disappeared
