Affair
with Rekha
This is
certainly the most unsuccessful love-story of one of the most successful
romantic pairs of bollywood. Their love story began on the sets of film do
anjaane. Soon, their affair came in the limelight and even made headlines
saying Rekha and Amitabh have got secretly married. But these speculations
caught more fire when Rekha turned up at rishi kapoor and neetu singh's wedding
wearing sindoor and mangalsutra. Many questions about this jodi’s affair were
answered with this bold step of Rekha. Amitabh Bachchan despite the superfluous
love for Rekha, never admitted it in public. On the other hand, Rekha boldly
admitted her love for him.
In an interview
given to filmfare magazine in 1984, Rekha spoke about Amitabh’s denial of their
relationship. She said, "why should he have not done it? He did it to
protect his image, his family, his children. Why should the public know of my
love for him or his love for me? I love him and he loves me- that’s it!”.
It was
also rumoured that one early morning Jaya
caught both of them meeting privately and her anger rose on Rekha's soft cheek
which became red after a harsh slap of Jaya's little hand.nevertheless,they
kept meeting at regular intervals in a secret bunglow of Rekha's friend.at one
time,there was also a rumour that Amitabh spent a lot of time with Rekha in her
bandra home without even going 2 visit his wife and kids. It broke up Jaya
completely but she never showed it up publicly and remained silent during these
hectic days. Then she tried hard to pull back his husband's foot in her life
again and eventually,she managed to kick out Rekha's magical persona from her
husband's life officially. "silsila"(1981) was the last film they did
together. After that Amitabh never came closer to Rekha. No one could digest
their sudden breakup but it is speculated that Rekha was inauspicious for most
of the men who came in her life, either he lost his life or some worst happened
to him. As Amitabh is a superstitious man, perhaps this might be one of the
major reason for him to realize this fact when he got seriously injured
during the shoots of coolie (1982), which almost made him reach the way of
death but he was lucky enough to recover at least, even at the cost of his
precious months
Though Rekha
has had the strong feelings for Amitabh, but her name was also added with many
other bollywood actors like Navin Nischol,Vinod Mehra,Jeetendra,Kiran Kumar but
she legally married to Mukesh Agarwal, a famous businessman in 1990 but he died
of committing suicide the very next year after his marriage. No one knows the
exact reason of his death but it is alleged that Rekha is bisexual and has had
a relationship with her secretary farzana,which compelled Mukesh Agarwal to end
his life. Rekha is still living with her secretary in her Bandra bunglow in Mumbai.
Parveen Babi
apart from Rekha, the second big name which came in the limelight was of
gorgeous parveen's affair with Amitabh. She loved him madly.their affair
continued for more than 2-3 years. But suddenly what happened between them that
she accused Amitabh of conspiring to kill her which she failed to prove as she
had no sufficient evidence . Including Amitabh, another three persons who came
in her life were also married, namely kabir bedi, danny denzongpa and mahesh
bhatt. But none of her relation succeeded and the last breakup with Amitabh
emptied all the positive shades of her life and gradually,she began to
collapse physically and mentally both. Subsequently,it was found that she had
been suffering from 'schizophrenia'.on 22 january,2005,the news of her sudden
death in her apartment situated in mumbai came
in the news which schoked the whole world .
zeenat Aman
Amitabh was such a big personality that the news of his extramarital affairs
did not end with only two women but he was also claimed to had a relation with
hot and bold Zeenat Aman.on the other hand,Zeenat's sexy figure not only
allured Amitabh,but she had a turbulent affair with Sanjay khan and Mazhar
khan one after another followed by a short lived marriage with both of them
which ended in divorce.once,Sanjay along with his wife beaten up Zeenat so
brutally that she got her eyelid damaged permanently. Surprisingly, everyone
behave like onlookers, no one dared to help her. She also kept a long time
relationship with evergreen Devanand and her image did influence Raj Kapoor for
sometimes.

Jaya was the owner of extraordinary beauty.so it could be only a puppy love
(infatuation) of Amitabh towards her for a very short period of time. It was
only a rumour at one time but no serious clue to be filled in the news papers
and magazines.though Jaya married with producer srikantha nahatha but she was
rumoured to have affairs with jeetendra and the famous politician amar singh.
Srikantha was already a married man and he did not give divorce to his previous
wife.after being married,Jaya willingly shares a cordial relation with
his husband's ex-wife.

kept secret misleading the people that the decorated skylark building in
malabar hills was for shooting a film,. Though their marriage is still going on

many controversies in which Rekha-Amitabh affair was at its peak.
