Affairs of Dilip Kumar

The most famous affair in Bollywood is of Dilip kumar and Madhubala . but didn’t have a single affair he had more , and he married twice also -

Kamini kaushal

 Dilip kumar first fall in love with actress kamini kaushal.their romance started on the set of 'shaheed'(1948) and soon they were planning to get married but kamini's brother who was in army played the role of villain in their love story.one day,he threatened dilip to break all his connections with kamini by showing a pistol to him.it was also not possible for kamini to rise against her family as she was already married to her late sister's husband,mr.sood,only for the sake of looking after the child which she left behind her.therefore,to keep her promise alive which she gave to her dying sister,kamini killed all her feelings towards dilip and buried it somewhere deep in the bottom of her broken heart and so did dilip too.

      Madhubala

 

After the break up with kamini kaushal,dilip found the most beautiful lady madhubala,daughter of attaulah khan to fill the space of his solitude heart.they were both in love with each another once again,luck betrayed him and his love could not reach to its destiny.

Dilip and madhubala signed a film naya daur (1957) but madhubala's father didn't want her to work on the location chosen by film's director b.r chopra. Her father demanded to change the location which director refused. Somadhubala's father ordered her daughter to leave the film. She was a obedient child and she did so. Dilip was not on anyone's side. But he asked director to do so for madhubala. He said he can't change the location because it was film's demand. He said dilip that at-least he should support him otherwise he is in a big loss. Dilip then tried to convincemadhubala but then her father got angry to dilip. She refused that she will not go against her father. Dilip then adviceb.r chopra if he don't want to ruin, then take law help. He was not worried for anything because dilip was with him and he won the case against madhubala. She was ordered to give back advance money, moreover her father image was ruined like a greedy man. It hurts her too much and then she told dilip that she is ready to marry him and will end her career, if he apologize to her father. Dilip refused by saying he is not worth it and couple broke-up.

Later she was  married actor/singer kishore kumar in 1960. After marriage madhubala mostly stayed in her bungalow because of kishore's family problems. Their marriage suffered a lot of troubles and lasted 8 years till her death.

   Vyjayanthimala

Dilip had done almost six movies with the brilliant actress and dancer vyjyantimala.so,having done successive films,people started to link them romantically.but both always denied about their affairs and told it only an allegation.her name was also linked with the showman superstar raj kapoor which also she never accepted publicly and eventually married with dr. Chamanlal bali,a personal physician of raj kapoor and further moved to chennai putting an end to her carrer.

waheeda rehman

waheeda rehman is one of the most prominent actresses of the golden era. She delivered hits opposite dilip kumar in three successive years in films dil diyaa dard liyaa (1966), ram aur shyam (1967) and aadmi (1968). Waheeda rehman desperately want to work with legend kumar. It was reported on set she lost her heart to dilip. Dilip dated her for very short time until he found his "future wali" saira banu.

He married twice

1)saira banu

           

       after getting failure in his efforts to be married with his beloved ones,the tragedy king of the indian cinema,dilip kumar  decided to marry actress saira banu,daughter of actress naseem banu and film producer milan ehsan-ul-haq .they got married on october 11,1966.this marriage created a sensation first time ever in the film industries as a man of 44 years old had chosen a girl of only 22 years old who looked more like a kid infront of him.but on the contrary,this kid had also a sizzling past in the name of actor rajendra kumar whom she desperately wanted to marry before marrying with dilip kumar.but as rajendra kumar was already a married man so saira's mother,not in favour of their marriage persuaded dilip to marry with her daughter and ultimately he did not let her mother down.

2)Asma  

        

Though saira was pretty,sweet,charming,beautiful and bubbly but these attributes were not enough to hold a man like dilip kumar for longer in her life and he got deviated from his married life and fall into the arms of a hyderabadi beauty asma.attracted by her looks,dilip married with asma in 1980.as we all know,saira was almost half in age of dilip,so,might be her innonence,and immature behaviour towards a very matured and an experienced person came in between their relationship.however,his second marriage also brokeup as soon as he realized that asma was cheating him by disclosing all his secrets to the press alongwith her former husband.in the mean time,saira also kept forcing dilip to give divorce to either of them and choose the better one between the two.now as dilip had broken all his relations with asma,he had no other option inspite of returning back to saira.afterwards,they lived happily ever and yet,they make a great couple.
