Sometime back he was surrounded with
controversies relating to his alleged affairs with co-stars Kareena Kapoor,
Barbara Mori, and his rumored link-up with Katrina Kaif. His on-screen lip-lock
with Aishwarya Rai also created buzz in the media.

Kareena Kapoor
It was obvious that Hrithik-Kareena were
the dream pair for 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' until Kareena decided to let down the
association by walking out the film just days after the shooting started.
It was rumored that Babita wanted her
daughter to make debut with Abhishek Bachchan. Hrithik and Kareena were however
brought together for Subhash Ghai's project 'Yaadein'. Their sizzling chemistry
sparked the rumours of their affair and the couple's growing proximity towards
each other. However, nothing was speculated as Hrithik and his wife Sussanne
cleared the air.
Years went by and Hrithik-Kareena were cast
again for 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hun', it was during this time when we heard
rumors about Sussanne being upset with Hrithik's growing attention towards
Kareena, which resulted in Sussanne walking out of home (rumored).
Filmmakers though understood the passionate
camaraderie that both the actors shared and soon they were starring together
again for Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum'. It was during this project
that Hrithik was quite aware of the consequences that could lead up and hence
he decided to maintain his distance or let's just say he became wise enough to
cover up his mess.
Aishwarya Rai
They were touted as the on-screen
'Brangelina' of Bollywood. Hrithik and Aishwarya became B-town's next 'It'
couple overnight, there erotic chemistry in Dhoom 2 was put on show.
Hrithik and Aishwarya's lip-lock for the
movie became one of the best on-screen kisses of all time. Though Aishwarya's
supposed in-laws - Bachchans weren't quite happy about the couple's chemistry,
as Aishwarya was getting to married Abhishek in the same year. It was quite
obvious that Bachchan's didn't like Hrithik-Aishwarya together; even Sussanne
didn't appreciate her husband's decision to kiss on-screen.
But after her marriage Aishwarya again
signed up a project opposite Hrithik Roshan, 'Jodha Akbhar'. The film too
showcased their hot sizzling love making scene, which again became a much
talked about gossip.
It is rumoured that Hrithik was given a
sense of mind by his wife, after which both Hrithik and Aishwarya maintained
their distances from each other, which was clearly seen in their next project
'Guzaarish'. he film tanked at box office as it failed to display their
romantic sides
Barbara Mori
'Kites' was Rakesh Roshan's dream project
for Hrithik, he didn't want it to be a typical Bollywood flick hence he made
sure that this film would be an international launch pad for his son.
Hollywood actress Barbara Mori was cast
opposite Hrithik, even before the film was started there were rumors about
Hrithik-Barbara's growing bonding, making Sussanne even more uncomfortable than
ever before.
Barbara was seen accompanying Hrithik
everywhere be it parties, gigs etc. The film though tanked but Hrithik's
closeness towards Barbara was a nail in the coffin in Hrithik-Sussanne's
marriage.
It was reported that Sussanne has clearly
threatened Hrithik that she would walk out of their marriage, and soon she was
seen by some sources walking out of the Roshan household. With Barbara Mori
going back to her place, everything seemed nice between Hrithik and Sussanne
for some time.
but
now Hrithik and his wife Sussanne are divorced .
The reasons are unbeknownst to anyone but
it seems Hrithik is paying the price of taking his wife's threat too leniently.
