Karishma kapoor

 Romance bloomed between Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor in the early 2000. They both loved each other and decided to marry . karishma’s sister Kareena Kapoor even found a friend in Abhishek Bachchan and chose Refugee,  as a debut film for the both of them. On October 29, 2002 along with Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday, Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek had an engagement ceremony too. But four months later, in February 2003, the couple split. The breakup reason is one of the biggest mysteries in  B-Town.

A reason for the Karisma Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan engagement breakup was put Jaya Bachchan not approving of the future daughter-in-law to continue with movies. On hindsight, this does not appear true because Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (the present wife of Abhishek Bachchan) is free to do whatever her mind dictates.  Another infamous view is that Amar Singh, who was once close friends with the Bachchans, had set up a detective to trail on Karisma Kapoor and they found her having an affair with Subrata Roy, the CEO of Sahara. On hearing about this, a bewildered Karisma’s mother picked up the phone and lashed at Jaya, who defended Amar Singh. The Bachchans decided to stop the marriage and Babita was not too enthusiastic either.

Dipannita Sharma

The other girl entered his life was model-actress Dipannita Sharma. Known for some bizzare flicks like Asambhav, Koi Aap Sa and My brother Nikhil, Sharma was introduced to Abhishek by her close friend Sonali Bendre.

The two spent pleasant time together but Abhi was more attracted towards Aishwariya Rai. Here it was when Jr. B tried to ignore Sharma for Aish. Finally on his B’day, Dipannita planned out a bash for Bachchan but he turned down the idea citing Pa’s ill-health reason. Infact, it was just the reason to keep her unknown about his big plans.

Bachchan later in the night threw a big party inviting numerous guests including the most awaited Aishwarya Rai. Finally, after knowing this Sharma parted her ways while her friends called it a coward attempt by Abhishek as he didn’t have the courage to convey his feelings to Dipannita. Jhanvi

Finally on the day of private wedding affair another problem aroused.  A girl called Jhanvi claimed that Abhishek Bachchan was her boyfriend. The entire controversy was created by her and she even tried to commit suicide infront of Amitabh’s house ‘Preeteksha’. She also cliamed that she had a physical relation with Abhishek.

Jahnvi, who had reached the residence of the actor late on Thursday night, split her wrists with a blade before few journalists. 

Reportedly, she claimed that Abhishek had an affair with her after his movie‘Dus’ where she was a background dancer. She even added that the result of their love was a ‘child.’ Eventually, it came out that she was a fraud trapping stars for money.

Story of marriage with Aishwarya

They first met each other in 1997 when Aishwarya was shooting Aur Pyaar Ho. Abhishek said, "The first time I met Aishwarya was in August 1997. I was on a recce for my father's film Mrityudata in Switzerland and she was shooting her first film, Aur Pyar Ho."

Abhishek said, "I remember one evening Bobby Deol{ her co-star} invited me to his hotel for dinner and Aishwarya was there. That was the first time I actually met her."

The friendship din't turn to love since she was dating Salman, but sadly that broke due to his possessive nature. She later dated Vivek Oberoi but nobody knows why they broke up.

They were speculated to be dating much before owing to which they signed a series of movies from Umrao Jaan to Guru. But in reality they actually started dating when they were shooting for Guru, "We started during Guru. It was meant to be," Abhishek said.

2006 Amitabh's brother Ajitabh started speculation that marriage was on the cards for the couple when he made a visit to the Bangalore-based astrologer Chandrashekhar Swamy with the horoscopes of Ash and Abhi.

Abhishek Bachchan proposed marriage to Aishwarya Rai in Toronto after the premiere of Guru there. Aishwarya immediately accepted the proposal and the two got married on April 20, 2007.

The wedding ceremonies concluded three days of celebrations at the actors' homes in India's entertainment capital of Mumbai, creating, what industry pundits said is, Bollywood's ultimate power couple. The wedding was preceded by a traditional Sangeet (music) celebration and a Mehendi (henna) ceremony

A lot of controversies arose saying the couple spilt but Abhishek laughed off those rumours and the couple kept going steady and became one of the ideal couples in Bollywood

After four years of marriage, Aishwarya Rai gave birth to Aaradhya was born on November 16, 2011.
