Shahrukh Khan is an Indian film actor, producer, TV host, mentor and philanthropists. He has appeared in more than 50 Hindi films in genres ranging from romance to action and comedies. He is one of the most awarded Bollywood actor of all time including actor Dilip Kumar. He was awarded with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2005, and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Government of France in 2007 for his contribution to films. Biography of Jacqueline Fernandez




Jacqueline Fernandez ws born on August 11, 1985. She was born in Bahrain to a Sri Lankan Father Elroy and Malaysian Mother Kim.
Jacqueline Fernandez father was a Sri Lankan, but belong to Indian origin. Jacqueline Fernandez mother was a Malaysian and had Canadian ancestry. Her great grandparents were from India. They lived in Goa. Jacqueline is the youngest in her family. She has three elder brothers of her. Jacqueline Fernandez religion is Sinhalese.
She studied in Sacred Heart School in Sri Lanka. She completed her graduation in field of Mass Communication from Murrey University, Melbourne, Australia. After completing her education she took keen interest in journalism in Sri Lanka and moved to her grandparents’ house in Sri Lanka.
Jacqueline Fernandez had a dream to become an actress, since the age of 8 years. When she was 14 years old, she started to host the shows on Television in Sri Lanka. Jacqueline Fernandez hobbies are Ballet, drama, and dancing. She is fond of eating healthy food.
After completing her studies in Australia, she returned Sri Lanka and take active part in journalism. She was the anchor in ‘Lanka Business Report’ and she used to write for ‘Daily Mirror’. She did her modeling from India. In year 2006, she participated in Miss Sri Lanka and was crowned as Miss Sri Lanka Universe. She then went for Miss Universe Contest, but were unplaced there. She appeared in her first commercial in the music Video for Sri Lankan Duo Santhush and Bathiya.
Jacqueline Fernandez made her Bollywood Debut with the movie ‘Aladin’ opposite to Riteish Deshmukh. She was awarded the IIFA Award for Star Debut for this movie. After this movie, there was no stopping for her. In year 2010, she was seen in the ‘Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’. But she received negative rviews for her performance. In the same year she did a cameo appearance in the movie ‘Housefull’ by Sajid Khan.
In year 2011, Alia Bhatt father Mahesh Bhatt gave her a chance in movie ‘Murder 2. She carried forward the boldness of Mallika Shehrawat in first part of the movie and gave it a new flavor. The movie was a great success and she was offered several roles by many production houses later on.
She denied her roles in movies like ‘Raaz 3’, ‘Zanjeer’, and ‘Krrish 3’ because she was asked to be the sex symbol’ for the movie. Esha Gupta replaced her role in movie ‘Raaz 3’ and Priyanka Chopra in other two movies. In year 2012, she was once again seen in sequel of ‘Housefull’, ‘Housefull 2’. This movie made Rs.186 crore worldwide and was a super hit. This time, she received positive reviews for her role. In the same year, she was scene in the movie ‘Race 2’. This movie was also a great success and touched rupees one billion mark. She them appeared in an item song of Prabhu Deva from the movie ‘Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya’.
She is seen in movie ‘Kick’ opposite to Bollywood Legend ‘Salman Khan’ and Randeep Hooda in year 2014. In 2015 she was seen in movie roy , and later on in movie Brothers .
She supports different charitable organizations. She supports PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals), Asia and sent a letter to Consulate General of Philippines in Colombo, Sri Lanka to transfer the elephant Mali from Manila Zoo to a lush Sanctuary in year 2013. She is also helping in her friend’s NGO ‘Pratham’ to help children in receiving primary education. She had been seen in many advertisements like of Pepsi, Sony Ericson, Titan Watches, Maggi, and many more. She does not hesitate to do stage shows. She even performed in Apsara Awards and 55th IIFA Award. She even performed in ‘Temptations Reloaded’ in Auckland with Rani Mukherjee, Madhuri Dixit, and Shahrukh Khan. She is the brand Ambassador of Sohail Khan’s Cricket team ‘Mumbai Heroes’ in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). She has also been in list of most desirable Indian women and had also been the cover girl of many Indian Magazines.

Jacqueline Fernandez had a relationship with a member of Bahraini Royal family. Shaikh Hassan Bin Rashid Al Khalifa was Jacqueline Fernandez boyfriend. She had spent most of her childhood time with him. But as the relationship grew long distance, they decided to break up in year 2012. Then she was dating Sajid Khan and they were also seen together in marriage of Ritiesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza. Sajid was too possessive for her and wanted to decide which movie she should do and which not. So, they split up over this issue in May. 2013.
